Two beekeepers.
One shared passion.
We keep bees together in Kassel and northern Hesse. We care for our colonies ourselves and handle their harvest from comb to jar. Behind our Bergpark honey are both a special place and two familiar faces.
It began with bedtime stories about bees.
For Philipp, bees have been part of family life since childhood. His grandmother was carrying on the beekeeping business of his great-grandfather. By the age of four, Philipp was so fascinated by bees that she would tell him about them again and again before he fell asleep.
Many years later, that early fascination led him and his son Johannes to start keeping bees themselves. Today, we look after our apiaries together, harvest the honey and process it ourselves.
Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe is a special part of this story. It brings together our enjoyment of beekeeping and a honey whose connection to its home stays with it all the way to the jar.

Harvested by us.
We know the colonies whose combs hold our honey. After harvesting, we process and jar each apiary's honey separately, keeping spring and summer harvests apart too. The Bergpark harvest is never mixed with honey from our other apiaries.
That gives every jar a specific story: honey from our Bergpark apiary, harvested in spring or summer and processed by us.
